No. Open the app and start typing. An account saves the budget so it follows you to a second device, and that is the only thing you pay for.
Without an account, as a draft on this device — and, if you ask for it, in a .json file you pick on your own disk. Sign in and it is saved to your account so the same budget opens on every device you use. You can export a file either way.
No, deliberately. A budget is a plan, not a ledger of what already happened. Nothing here needs read access to your accounts, so nothing here asks for it.
Export a file whenever you like — the format is plain records you can read in any text editor. Nothing about the app's value depends on us existing next year.
Because the planning work runs on your device, and charging for that would be charging for nothing. Keeping the same budget on more than one device is what we run servers for, so that is what an account is for.
Yes, from the account page, in one click. Cancel and the budget stays: it falls back to the Local plan on the device you are using, with the file you already own.
Anything your browser formats, set per budget. Figures use tabular numerals so columns line up regardless of the symbol.
Every chart carries direct labels and a table view, so no reading depends on colour or on hovering. Motion collapses under prefers-reduced-motion, and the whole app is keyboard-reachable.
